Coal Plant Protest in Dallas

With the Tenaska Trailblazer Energy Center likely to begin in 2010, protests like the recent one in Dallas are sure to make the local news.

Activists have gathered to protest coal-fired power plants in Texas.

Representatives of environmental, religious and medical groups say they delivered more than 2,000 comments to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Dallas office on Thursday, calling for a halt to coal plant construction in Texas.
